Raghupati Das (A brief biographical sketch)

Having met the devotees during Gita marathon and received Srila Prabhupada books in 1988 in Kanpur, Raghupati Das joined ISKCON Vrindavan, a year later at the age of 19. He was trained in the studies of scriptures under the guidance of many senior vaisnavas in Vrindavan where he served in various preaching and management capacities for 10 years. Raghupati Das is an initiated disciple of HH Gopal Krsna Goswami. He holds a bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in philosophy from Agra University, MBA (Aston University) and is studying for a PhD from the University of Birmingham.
Raghupati Das moved to England In 1999 and has been serving in many preaching projects. He pioneered the online Bhakti Sastri course for the Mayapur Institute and delivered it for 4 years. He has been a tutor and the member of the Faculty at the Bhaktivedanta College (Radhadesh). He was appointed as the Divisional Director of the ISKCON Ministry of Education for a year in 2012 where he still gives his services. He lives in Birmingham with his wife Vinod Manjari Dasi and daughter Vrindavanswari.
